Stefan Palios

Stefan is more than a freelance writer for startups and VCs, he is the brains and words behind intrapreneurs, entrepreneurs, executives, and people who take ownership at work.

Alongside freelancing, he is the Publisher at PulseBlueprint.com (News for freelancers) and RemotelyInclined.com (Newsletter about running a business remotely), along with the bestselling author of The 50 Laws of Freelancing.

He started his career conducting "practical research" for entrepreneurs and business leaders on a wide variety of people and innovation projects. This work was rooted in deep research of key facts and figures around a given problem (i.e. "How to create an agile HR strategy") combined with a consultative step-by-step approach to guide leaders through solving these challenges.

He then worked in customer success at ScribbleLive, a content marketing platform, and founded two startups: one focused on helping companies recruit diverse talent and the other focused on helping startups tell their brand story.

As a writer and journalist, he’s interviewed over 150 entrepreneurs and changemakers, conducted original research on topics like diversity and inclusion and workplace burnout, and edited for a niche news service focused on cryptocurrency and blockchain.

Outside of work, he co-founded Venture Out, Canada's largest summit promoting LGBT inclusion in tech and LGBT entrepreneurship, now a national brand with 40+ corporate partners, thousands of community members, and have multiple events each year that bring people together, educate, and build community.
